I'm gonna miss you, ISM Insurance Services Malaysia Berhad

I've completed my internship for 4 months in a place known as ISM Insurance Services Malaysia Berhad in Jalan Sultan Sulaiman.

It's been an enjoyable 4 months.. I started my 4 months intern on 2nd march 2009..

i was alone and the rest of my course mates have found themselves in other insurance company or bank whereas for me.. I've choose to complete my internship in this company.. and until now i never regret to work there.. it's been an memorable 4 months for me..

i really appreciate everything and everyone there..

I've been learning a lot of things there.. from SAS Enterprise Guide to a normal excel..

but I enjoy every second in the company with all the friendly colleagues and the friendly environment.. I really wanna take this opportunity to thank everyone there.. It's been my pleasure getting to know each and everyone of them..

For so long I've never had a day like today !!!

I can just say that we are damn lucky..

hahaha..

Let me just start my writing with my morning lo..

11am - wake up lo.. try to online.. shit can't !!! stupid streamyx.. hate it !!!!

11.15am - wash my clothes and hang it lo..

11.30am - clean up the living room for 677.. now it's home sweet home that we've always wanted..

2pm - finish cleaning.. shower lo.. den go out for lunch with 677-ians..

2.30pm - go seapark lunch then buy some things lo.. den go back 677

3.30pm - reach 677.. did some "girl" things.. hahaha..

4.30pm - take a nap.. nice nap.. hahaha

5.30pm - dress up and go 1 utama..

it's still so early.. we have a lot of plans for the nite..

6.00pm - reach 1 utama.. found us a nice parking..  *damn lucky !!! (1st time)

6.15pm - GSC-buy us 3 tickets for I Love You, Man..

6.30pm - eat in zanmai sushi.. long queue la.. but den wait for a while our turn dy..

The conversation goes like tis..

SY : Eh, look at the sign board, got happy hour le..

OW : Happy hour?

J : oh, that day u go for midvalley de oso got rite?

SY : ya lo.. in gardens de.. it's from 7am-8am where they got a theme for the day..

like tat day is maki lo.. so u take those maki from the belt den on selected plates.. after they scan with UV light, if got sign den u can get rm20 voucher lo..

J : wah.. good good.. hopefully we get la

Waitress : How many person?

SY : 3..

J : Hello.. (talking on the phone).. hahaha

OW & SY: bla bla bla.. (I was on the phone.. how i know what they talk.. hahaha)

So,the waitress take us to a nice place it's just beside the conveyor belt lo.. *damn lucky !!! (2nd time)

It's 6.45pm haven't 7pm lo.. so we took those nigiri sushi and ordered some hand roll first lo..

SY : Is the happy hour started already?

Waiter : No yet.. u have to wait for the opening..

SY : oh.. ok thanks..

after a while.. it started...

so,the theme for today is maki again.. so take any maki on the belt and when they scan there's a sign underneath ur plate den "TA DAH !!!!! " u got urself a RM20 voucher..

but the waitress give us a hint.. it's either the black plate (rm4.80) or the red plate (rm6)..

shee ying (my roommate) took the second plate, black plate..

and oil woon (my housemate) took the third plate, red plate..

1 person 1 ma.. fair fair.. c who got the luck.. hahaha..

so, the winner is oil woon.. she got herself a rm20 voucher.. yeah !!! *damn lucky !!! (3rd time)

so, it's scissors, paper, stone to determine who win lo..

so,the winning person will get to choose the 3 sushis for the 2 opponents and herself lo..

for ur information it's inari sushi (shee ying's favourite.. shouldn't have ordered just now.. haha)

so,the person that took the sushi without the wasabi will get rm20 voucher..

shee ying win the game and won herself a rm20 voucher.. *damn lucky !!! (4th time)

down lo.. left me lo.. i pulak have to pay the meal myself.. down lo..

so i get myself a rm20 voucher again lo... *damn lucky !!! (5th time)

shit !!! memang we eat de.. no wrong at all.. we ordered a lot le !!! hahahahaha

nvm nvm.. it's already 8pm and our movie is at 8.40pm..

we only have 40minutes to shop and it's pdi members day... 20% le..

so, cheong ah !!!!!

reach there OW went to look for shoes.. i look around for bags.. but down all the bags so expensive.. so end up walking lo.. walk till accesories there.. found myself a striking purple watch.. nice only rm16.80.. 

den jalan summore.. wah.. got a baju 70% discount only rm27.60.. 

so,buy this 2 things lo.. OW got herself a shoe lo.. nice nice!!

but malangnya, SY didn't buy herself anything.. but she aimed dy la.. hahaha.. waiting for the next sales .. yeah !!!!

so,it's already 8.40pm.. cheong to cinema..

ngam ngam ho.. the show just started.. yeah !!! nice timing !!!

a nice nice movie.. very funny.. must watch !!!

finish movie, came back 677 and try to online..

yeah can wor !!! *damn lucky (6th time)

Osaka Japanese Restaurant

I went for Japanese treat last saturday with my lao gong..

Actually went to the restaurant before de.. but den my friends all blacklisted it already

this is due to the bad service on the 1st of may (labour day) night..

maybe the restaurant is too pack.. therefore, the restaurant became topsy turvy..

the waiters and waitress also "pek-cek" even we as the customers also "pek-cek"..

so,we waited for menu for about 15 minutes.. only menu cos the waitress said "menu not enough"

hahaha.. so silly.. 

den wait for about 45 minutes to 1 hour for the food lo..

so,kao tim everything about 2 hours like tat kua.. i also forgot dy la.. roughly only..

therefore, we band the place dy lo.. hahahaha

but den,i feel that the place's food is nice.. i never tasted any japanese food that nice.. even sakae oso kalah dy..

seriously.. if u guys have the chance.. must go try.. no regret..

so,i planned to give the restaurant a 2nd chance..

and i did, last saturday i went for dinner with my lao gong..

we reach there at about 6.15pm (open at 6pm) cos scare the same old thing happen again.. cos it's wesak day on saturday.. scare will be pack..

mana tau.. go till there.. got 2-3 tables la.. den we get a nice place..

the service is damn good.. hahaha..

den we ordered all the sushi... 

and let me tell u.. my lao gong is not fond of sushi.. but he can order a lot there and start eating happily.. not like when we go sakae.. he got nothing much to order.. hahahaa

What's the point?

What's the point for paying RM400 (i still owe my sister this amount) and study damn hard day and night , without having enough sleep when the date is approaching and pek cek-ing most of the time moreover make myself no mood everyday resulting in arguement with my loved ones.

Eating maggi mee for 2 meals a day and finish 5 packets in 4 days?

What's the point? For my future? As an actuary? Is it really my dream?

I'm lost now. 

After been through everything, and what I got? -We are regret to inform you that your test results shows that you were not successful in achieving the passing score established by the SOA for Exam FM- Thank you very much. Thanks for all the trouble.

Thanks for all the things I've been through this few months.

Not forgetting the tired internship from 8.30am - 5.30pm and come back still need to face you (FM Manual) but this is how you repay me? !@!#$#%$#%^%$^%$&@$#%

I'm really lost now. Lost in the sense that should I really continue with this route? or should I find the route that I really like? such as designing, cooking, teaching? 

but I'm already half way through and had already waste RM1600 (RM400 - Exam P fail  + RM400 -Exam FM fail  + RM400 - Exam FM again fail again  + RM300 for passport that bring me to nowhere yet + RM100(lebih kurang) for all the travelling expenses to the exam for 3 times)

I really don't get the point yet? Still so lost.

However, from all the frustration I've been through, 

Thanks to my parents, they support me really much. 

Thanks to my lao gong. Although he's busy this few weeks but he spend a lot of time to text me whenever I'm down and accompanying me when I really need him. Thanks.

I can see who's my true friend now. Thanks for supporting me and asking me to study all the time (u know who you are). 

And lastly thanks to myself for having the courage to go through all this. haha. Without going through all this, I really don't know that I'm that dicipline. I can OFF my laptop for about 2 weeks when I'm peejay. Unbelievable !!! But believe me, it's true.

What's done is done. Next step is to enjoy myself to the fullest without FM Manual anymore.

tired of my life

i'm actually having my exam fm on the 7th may 2009..

i can honestly tell everyone that i'm not ready..

and i might give up but because of rm400.. i still need to struggle..

until now.. 26th april 2009..

i still have 11 chapters to go.. and in total there are 19 chapters..

do u think i will pass? i dun think so..

if i have 24 hours to study for a day.. only study..

but i dun have.. i have to go to work..

sometimes.. during working hours.. if the boss has nothing for u to do..

den u can study lo.. but sometimes he's free den sien dy lo..

later after work.. come back home.. go makan den back home about 8plus dy..

study for a while (if got mood) no mood? den habis loh..

waste few hours lo.. mostly i dun have mood de.. although my laptop will be off during weekdays

but it'll still be the same.. no mood means no mood..

about 11 plus? wanna sleep dy lo.. haih ~~~

1 day finish.. so day and day pass.. what have i done for today?

it's the same.. no study only wasting time..

but it's so damn tired.. how can i manage all this problems?

can someone help me? i really no mood to study anymore..

long month has just passed

long month? it's only a month..

but last month really damn lots of things happen

my internship lo.. den getting really nervous and i can feel the pressure cos my exam FM is just around the corner.. 

den my lao gong's grandma is back.. so every weekend we will go to accompany her..

but she just went back to New Zealand today..

i dun understand myself..

cos when she's here.. i seems to feel that she dun like me and that my lao gong spend most of his time with her.. and treat her even more better than treat me..

she'll said i'm fat.. my leg is not nice.. and etc..

den make me really no mood to go see her.. 

but i do respect her as my own grandma.. and still go accompany her every weekends when she's around.. although i'm always down after i go..

but i can say i'm quite happy oso la.. although sometimes end up arguing with my lao gong..

just a snap.. it's already a month.. 

and she's already 78 years old.. how many times a person can have their 78?

so,i just can do my very best to treat her really well and hope can repay all her hardwork that she've done for my lao gong when he's young..

now that she's on the MAS airplane.. far away from here dy..

i started to miss her.. which i feel weird..

but i can see she's a good grandma for sure.. 

just have to say sorry to whatever i've done wrong all this while and my bad attitude..

hope she and my lao gong can forgive me for what i've done last month..

this few weeks i'm really bad temper..

i dunno what actually happen to me..

but i think it's cos of my lao gong has not much time for me like always..

he need to spend time with his grandma cos she' back from NZ..

den he need to spend time studying for all his midterm and assignments..

so, he only has 24 hours a day.. den he used up most of his weekends in his grandma's place

and weekdays for studies.. 

i do understand that he's busy.. i shouldn't have disturb him and throw my temper right at his face

he's really suffering i can c.. but girls will always be girls..

i can't control how i feel.. i can't control my tears..

everything just come and go.. i can't control it..

i'm sorry if i treat anyone bad tis few weeks..

please forgive me.. 

i'll try to let go everything.. and forget about everything..

and work happily and study happily.. 

i know how my parents feel now..

it's been a month.. now i starting to feel the pain that my parents go through for more than 23 years..

it's really hard.. although my work is only sitting down in the office..

and using some programme to generate data.. and meet some deadline of course..

but i think my parents went through a lot more than me..

really appreciate each and everything they have done for me and my family..

-1st week of intern-

last week is my 1st week of internship lo
so far so good la.. cos everyone is treating me very good..
really glad got all of them as my colleague..
i'll tell it with details la..
1st day - blur blur go work lo.. early in the morning take bus and damn pack lrt..
walk for about 5 minutes to reach work place..
den go in there.. ntg for me to do? just sit there? sien-nya..
one of the colleague : read newspaper la.. here take it.. (handing over the newspaper to me)
but i dun feel like reading.. 1st day ma.. kan cheong ma.. den go over to another colleague and chit chat with them.. cos blur blur ma.. hahahaha..
den found out a bit things liao lo.. not tat they have no work for me..
is tat the person in charge is not here yet lo.. so i waited lo.. till about 10.00am
a lady came n brought a book.. thick book.. ask me to read it within a week..
it's a manual for SAS Enterprise Guide.. a software.. vr useful software..
den i kuai kuai read lo..
until lunch time.. a gang of colleague (mostly chinese) : jenna, wanna join us for lunch?
i said ok.. den d other gang(moslty malays) : wanna join us for lunch? hahaha
how to choose? of course i choose chinese lo.. cos i prefer chinese food more ma..
den go to a place opposite takaful building for economical rice lo.. rm3.80
still ok.. hehehe..
den after lunch go back.. continue study the manual lo..
2nd day - take bus and damn pack lrt again lo.. reach office.. no one bother u de lo..
den read read read the manual lo...
until lunch time.. go out with the same gang for lunch lo..
in petaling street there.. a famous stall of curry mee.. nice.. rm4.00 per bowl lo..
den study again in office la..
3rd day - same old story lo.. go till office read manual for a while but a bit different lo..
they got briefing for me today lo..brief me of the company lo..
den today lunch.. with different gang dy lo.. cos the other gang got appointment with frens..
so,i joined another gang lo.. eat at 1st floor of the takaful building (downstairs of my office lo)
all malay stalls.. order nasi goreng lo.. rm4.50
quite expensive la.. but stil ok oso lo.. can tahan..
after lunch continue briefing lo.. till 5.30pm.. yeah !! no need read..
4th day - read read read manual lo..
lunch in 1st floor lo same.. cos raining ma.. lazy go out lo..
den after lunch.. tis is what happen..

den bought durian puff (they said very famous wan)..
nice la.. den really happy la.. fri.. so relax..
go back office.. study manual again lo..
but tis week got project for me le..

-INTERN START-

Today 1st day of my internship..
i woke up at 6am.. to get ready..
and guess wat.. day before i went to give lao gong a surprise birthday den i slept at around 2am.. den bcome panda when 1st day of work..
i planned to take bus at 7am.. but then turn out tat stupid rapid kl.. come late..
i went up d bus at around 7.30am..
but luckily i only need to take lrt from asia jaya to pasar seni.. which needs about 15 minutes..
so,i still can make it on time lo..
den i reach ISM sharp sharp at 8.30am lo..
but not much ppl reach oso.. only a few ppl nia.. hahaa.. cos i heard the ceo is on holiday till 16th march.. so, relax 1st lo.. hehehee..
everyone in the office treat me good la..
friendly oso la.. quite happy cos can enter that company..
although it's not a big n well known company..
but everyone working there is like so happy..
i dunno why la.. maybe cos their boss is not around.. hehehee..
den 1 of the in-charge person just hand me a manual and ask me to read myself
for tis whole week.. cos i need to know the software before i begin working..
it's SAS lai de la.. some sort like Splus.. but far more better..
actually feel kinda of worth it oso got into that company..
cos can learn additional skills.. at least smtg to write in my resume in the future..
there's a super senior (1st batch of um graduate in actuarial science) working there..
she helped me a lot..
but of course others oso help me too..
feel kinda happy la.. but hopefully tis happiness maintain for 4 mths la..
